Some Historical Conditions of Narrative Work (on Michael White)

Quite unexpectedly, at the peak of his influence, Michael White died in 2008. None of us outside his family knew of the marginal cardiac health of this intrepid swimmer and cycler. This piece is an effort to begin to put his contribution to the field in perspective, and to get ready to carry on, with the expansive help of his partners Cheryl White and David Epston, who continue to lead the field of Narrative Work in great directions.
