Notes for a Cultural History of Family Therapy

This was a first serious attempt to re-write history, drawing on what I had learned from the courses given by Jan Goldstein and Hannah Decker, and my later reading for “A Different Story.” It also begins to reflect more and more the influence of Michael and Cheryl White and the Dulwich Centre, an influence in which the social work profession – social social work, as Margaret would say – is important.
